Job Purpose:

As a Senior Recruiter, you will provide full-cycle talent acquisition services to ePlus from branding and evangelizing the ePlus message through sourcing, selecting and recruiting top talent, while mentoring team members and serving as a leadership representative within our organization.

From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the recruitment liaison with hiring managers
  • Post and advertise open job positions by utilizing the following methods:
    • External job boards
    • Social media and social recruiting sites
    • ePlus Intranet and internal job boards
    • College recruitment boards
    • Outside employment agencies, if applicable
  • Review resume databases to search for potential candidates
  • Keep abreast of local companies and competitors for potential candidates
  • Analyze resumes to determine suitability of candidate for interviewing
  • Interview candidates personally by phone or in person
  • Responsible for coordination and creation and approval seeking of pre-hire requisitions
  • Determine the suitability of an applicant for employment by analyzing results of interview completed application and reference checks.
  • Scheduling phone and personal interviews with hiring managers on an as needed basis
  • Reference checking
  • Create offer letters and related paperwork
  • Entry of interviewed candidates into HRIS
  • Job description creation and maintenance
  • Make recommendations of hires to managers
  • Follow up on acceptance of an offer to a candidate
  • Liaison with employment and advertising agencies
    • Coordinate contracts with outside vendors according to company guidelines
    • Proofing all advertisements
    • Review and bills from recruitment  vendors
  • Run quarterly hiring status reports (review where we are obtaining our best hires from)
  • Assist in HR Department projects (acquisitions, implementation of HR & PR software & employee appreciation events) as needed
  • Run background checks
  • Send out of IT notifications for new hires and contractors

Job Knowledge/Skills:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and  Local laws regarding employment practices & recruitment
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques
  • Sensitivity to corporate needs, employee goodwill and public image
  • Excellent knowledge of functions of clerical and technical positions in organizations
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills and organizational skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of previous recruitment experience, preferably for an IT company
  • Familiarity with recruiting using social media required
  • Background with recruiting for an agency strongly preferred
  • CIR certification preferred
