As a Partner Development Specialist (PDS), you will manage key programs, relationships and overall growth for a named list of focused partnerships.  You will aid ePlus and our vendor alliances team with advancing and growing viable long term relationships with their aligned security partners, including support for partner profitability.

From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactive, long range Market Development Funds planning and execution for partnerships
  • Manage regional and departmental MDF requirements and budgets
    • Work with regional channel managers and marketing leads
  • Attend national and annual meetings and QBRs as required
  • Assist in the development of business plans for increased reporting, priority setting and relationship building
  • Master internal sales processes, systems and procedures
    • Interface with Sales Ops, contracts, legal, Finance, Marketing, etc.
  • Manage and increase deal registrations for partner sales
    • Maintain partner portal information and guidelines: OEM Playbook, Portal and Pricing programs
  • Manage internal CRM dashboards for channel management team
  • Develop and manage consistent partner pages on internal portal
  • Coordinate and participate with Marketing to manage partner-sponsored events
  • Assist in the development of key wins or case studies
  • Drive new vendor contract completion process and needs
  • Assist in the management of community training and knowledge sharing development (wiki, ePlus University, eConnect, file share)

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Timely capture of MDF funds
  • Efficient use of funds according to MDF Plan(s)
  • Proposals for incremental MDF funds / monies captured over and above registered Plan(s)
  • Timeliness and accuracy of business plans, reports, and other documentation
  • Readability / general utility of CRM dashboards
  • Volume of deal registrations
  • Vendor satisfaction with the ePlus working relationship
  • Total relationship profitability (front-end and back-end gross margin + MDF provided)

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in channel partner/program management in networked and cyber security preferred
  • Cloud experience highly desired
