As a National Pre-Sales Engineer, you will help establish ePlus as a provider for secure and converged Dell/EMC solutions. He/she will be capable of planning, designing, implementing and operating network, client/server and storage Solutions and will be responsible for national coverage based on needs.

From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert on extensive consulting engagements that establish ePlus as a leading provider of storage and advanced network operating system solutions, primarily around Dell/EMC Technologies.

  • Plan and assess enterprise technology strategy and architecture.
  • Program/project oversight, client engagements from presales through delivery
  • Design, implement and operate enterprise infrastructure for client projects
  • Work with Dell EMC Practice Manager to help with technical enablement and GTM strategy
Requirements

Job Knowledge/Skills:

  • Cohesive experience in the strategy, process and methodology for business enablement and transformation through technology.
  • A wealth of expertise on standards, architectures, technology frameworks, solutions and best practices.
  • Seasoned in strategy and architecture steering, review, enforcement and documentation.
  • Prior experience leading large responsibilities of IT budgetary and project planning at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Experience in company-wide or national coverage pre-sales support.
  • Track and record delivery of strategic projects from conception to reality.
  • Proven collaboration and consensus-driving with technology teams, business groups and senior executives.
  • Can take on both managing and hands-on responsibilities as a “duty-on-demand” principal engineer, architect, team lead and project manager.
  • Have solid hands-on and inside out knowledge of storage and client server solutions.
  • Can assist w/ deal registration, build proposals and deliver to the end user (customer)
  • Build and lead high-performance teams, deliver strategic projects, and cultivate win-win partnerships with customers.

Education and Experience:

  • Current Microsoft Certified System Engineer, current Storage certifications, or current Cisco certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in client server technologies, pre-sales experience, storage systems and project management.
  • Balanced experience of technology/engineering, and business/management.
