As an ePlus Enterprise Network Architect, you will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing and operating enterprise infrastructure for clients. You will have the opportunity to work with our master architects, engineers, and consultants, to understand our clients’ needs and craft sustainable IT roadmaps to get them there.

From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.

Job Responsibilities:

An Architect is responsible for Sales Engineering support, installations, BOM creation assistance and SOW assistance along with planning and designing and implementing solutions for multi-vendor Route/Switch Solutions.

  • Provide assessments, design deployment and implementation services of multi -vendor solutions
  • Engage various manufacturer engineering resources for lab access and design assistance
  • Assess customer environments and make recommendations
  • Serve as a post-sales resource for sales and engineering
  • Act as an escalation point for ePlus Engineers and Consultants
    • Escalate issues to other team members, as needed
  • Meet with key vendors to stay current on products and technologies
  • Maintain multiple advanced manufacturer specific advanced certifications. i.e.: CCIE R/S, VCP, MCSE
  • Complete additional relevant certifications, as recommended or assigned by supervisor

  • Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design and plan, implement and support IT solutions using two or more of the following technologies:
    • Virtualization
    • Storage Area Networks (SAN)
    • Networking
    • Collaboration
    • Wireless
    • Backup
    • Blade Server Technology
    • Security 
  • Cisco specific knowledge must include:
    • Catalyst
    • ISE
    • Prime
    • Nexus
    • ISR
    • Meraki

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of hands on experience in IT
  • 4+ years experience in a Sr. Engineer or Consultant role
  • 4-year College degree preferred
  • Multiple industry-recognized certifications. i.e.: CCIE, CCNP, MCSE, VCP
