As a Services Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for high-level business development and growth of all services sales in assigned territory.  You will overlay the existing sales organization in assigned market and drive awareness, training, pipeline development and sales in both a sell-to and a sell-through model. The main goal of the BDE is to drive services gross profit for the region in which they are covering.

From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary territory liaison responsible for driving objectively measured incremental growth of all ePlus services for the region.  Work with field sales organization to assist with training and skills development for selling of all ePlus services.

  • Lead efforts for services demand generation campaigns working with field sales organization 
  • Collaborate with existing ePlus field sales and services leadership.  Analyze and prioritize selling activity within existing accounts that will drive efficient sales growth of all ePlus services, specifically services not tied to product sales
  • Develop joint marketing plan to recommend tactics and assist the field with regularly scheduled demand generation activities within territory
  • Ongoing training and development of supported sales and SE staff relative to all ePlus services
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting of all ePlus services for assigned regions
  • Responsible for meeting financial targets for all ePlus services sales.  Emphasis will be on overall services growth within the region and increasing services GP dollars and overall regional GP margins
  • Collaborate with peers across other markets to share best practices and develop a consistent approach for positioning which yields optimal results for the organization
Requirements

Job Knowledge/Skills:

  • Willingness to travel to assigned territory 
  • Knowledge and experience selling both annuity and professional services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in matrix managed environment
  • Proven ability to leverage subject matter experts to further the sales process
  • Possess ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science or Engineering fields preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience selling services solutions with significant business development responsibilities
  • Sales leadership experience preferred
  • Proven success selling to solutions at the CXO and VP level
