As an ePlus control system programmer, you will serve as the lead in developing touch panel designs and performing programming activities of integrated audio visual systems at ePlus. Responsibilities include the capturing programming requirements, developing control system programming/GUI, commissioning, and training on custom solutions to meet the vision/expectations of clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise for audio visual and control technologies
  • Gather and document client control requirements
  • Ability to develop control system programming to meet customer requirements
  • Create customized and intuitive GUI/touch panel interfaces
  • Develop new modules and interfaces for programming
  • Interpret and understand AV signal flow drawings
  • Troubleshoot and testing of programming code/systems
  • Preform commissioning and acceptance testing
  • Create programming documentation (Screen shots, quick user guide, user training docs)
  • Demonstrate and provide system training to end users and technical support staff
  • Provide engineering support to other team members when required
  • Meet with vendors/manufacturers to help evaluate products and technologies
  • Works well in a team environment and is willing to mentor others
  • Ability to travel and work at varies client sites as required
  • Other duties as required
Requirements

Job Knowledge/Skills:

  • Certification in applicable technology
  • InfoComm CTS certification(s) preferred
  • Programming certifications for Crestron, Extron, and/or AMX programming preferred
  • Proficient in control system design (Cestron, Extron, Biamp, Dante, AVB)
  • Knowledge of networking required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer skills (MS Office, MS Outlook, PDF Creator)
  • Position requires some travel (up to 50%)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline or equivalent combinations of education, technical certifications, training, and/or work experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in designing or implementing audio visual and collaboration systems
  • Computer skills (MS Office, MS Outlook, PDF Creator)
