Job Purpose:

You must have deep multiproduct knowledge in datacenter, networking and security with a preferred bias twoards Cisco Systems. The successful candidate will possess a high level of technical sales expertise, deep vendor relationships and sound business acumen that has driven a track record of strong vertically based solution selling. 

Essentially the successful candidate must have a proven track record of net new business growth and an extensive experience in account management at the highest level.  They must be able to competently communicates at the highest levels of management and lead a solution sales process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth objectives through prospecting, lead response, and relationship building with Tier 2 Enterprise accounts
  • Qualify business opportunities by identifying scope of projects and initiatives, decision makers, stakeholders, and overall scope of opportunity
  • Develop net new account relationships
  • Maintain and grow existing client revenues through cross-selling of ePlus core competencies
  • Establish and maintain manufacturer/partner relationships to develop joint sales opportunities
  • Develop and implement quarterly account marketing plan
  • Provide monthly forecast and quarterly reviews for assigned territory
  • Conduct business in a professional, competent and ethical manner
  • 30% business travel is required

Job Knowledge/Skills:

  • Reside with regular travel to London.
  • Strong technology understadning across the key technical domains.
  • Knowledge of enterprise verticals where the network is revenue generating.
  • Must be capable of learning and presenting new technologies
  • Must demonstrate ability to qualify, penetrate, and close new accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to leverage subject matter experts to further the sales process.
  • Possess ability to work independently.

    Education and Experience:

  • Proven success selling to Managed Accounts at the CXO and VP level.
  • BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science or Engineering fields preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience includes selling technology solutions including DC networking, compute, storage, back-up and security, Campus and branch networking, WAN, cloud and collaboration. 
  • An understanding of software defined networking would have significant value.
